Ingredients

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg (optional)
  • 1 pound fettuccine pasta
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

Prepare the Chicken: Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper. In a large skillet over medium heat, heat olive oil. Add chicken and cook until golden brown and cooked through, about 6-7 minutes per side. Remove from skillet and slice into thin strips.

Cook the Pasta: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add fettuccine and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Make the Alfredo Sauce: In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute. Pour in heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Gradually whisk in Parmesan cheese until smooth and creamy. Add nutmeg if using.

Combine Pasta and Sauce: Add cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to coat in the Alfredo sauce. Add sliced chicken and mix well.

Serve: Plate the creamy chicken Alfredo and garnish with chopped fresh parsley for a burst of color and freshness.

Tips :

  • For added flavor, use grilled chicken or add a pinch of red pepper flakes.

  • Substitute half-and-half for a lighter sauce.
